Well packaged in manufacturer box within an Amazon box. Read the instructions, they want you to drain old and new compressor into separate containers. Basically put into the new one the amount removed from old, but no less than 2oz. Makes sense, but could be simpler. They could just put 2oz in the new one and have you add oil if old is over 2....but simple is not in engineering handbooks.Plug is in a different spot than OE, but close enough to reach fine. Would definitely buy over aftermarket.Old one had a catastrophic clutch failure and ruined coil and compressor body. Compressor internals undamaged.
