This alternator puts out a lot of amps and that's exactly what these old Altima electrical systems need to fix a lot of codes they start throwing on the OBD2 in their aging process. We cleared out about 20 codes that haven't returned, some of which were only quasi-electrical in nature, but due to undervolt or under-amperage situation with the old alternator. This one holds at 14.7 Volts consistently until the car battery is fully charged and then settles in at 14.5v, and I think the total Wattage (Amps x Volts) output is higher than the stock alternator was when it was brand new. Very pleased.
