This is a superb record by two marvellous jazz musicians: Herb Pomeroy (trumpet/ flugelhorn) and Donna Byrne (vocalist). Even more, the pianist and guitarist are none others than Dave McKenna and Gray Sargent. All this guarantees a big quality party. There is not a bad theme in the record. All of them are top-level. Just by listening to the three first ones "Doxy/It's a wonderful world", "Lullaby in rhythm" and "I'll wind" you can assess the kind of disk you have on your hands: exceptional. The others are also very very good as well: "Just one of those things", "Summertime", "Do nothin' till you hear from me".....A must buy. I give it 4,5 stars.
